FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How the platform works, who checks projects, what it costs, how your data is protected and where funds sit during a deal.
Is EUROBRIDGE a broker or investment adviser?
No. EUROBRIDGE is a neutral information and workflow platform. We do not give investment advice, do not arrange or execute transactions, and do not hold, receive or transfer funds. Agreements are concluded directly between investors and project owners.
Who checks projects and organisations?
Every project is moderated by EUROBRIDGE before publication. Moderation checks the card’s completeness and, for level L1, the supporting documents; it is not an independent legal, technical or financial due diligence. Organisations are checked against registries and sanctions lists where a badge says so, and carry a verification level (L0–L2). Investors first get the “Domain confirmed” status; full KYC happens at the deal stage.
Score and verification methodologyWhat is the EUROBRIDGE Score?
A 0–100 score built from 24 indicators in five weighted groups: strategy and market, readiness, finance, risks and investor protection, and team. Missing information lowers the score, so incomplete projects do not look stronger than they are. It supports comparison; it is not a credit rating or investment advice.
How the Score is calculatedWhat does data confidence mean?
It is the share of project data backed by documents and verification. A project can score high but have low confidence if supporting documents have not been added yet.
What is Investment Commencement?
The last milestone of a deal on the platform. After the inquiry, NDA, Deal Room and LOI or Term Sheet, both parties confirm that investment has started, and the event is written to the Legal Event Log. The money itself moves outside the platform.
Does the platform hold funds? What about escrow?
No, never. If the parties choose escrow, the account is served by a partner bank (or another licensed provider of the parties’ choice); EUROBRIDGE only records the status of the process. Funds never reach EUROBRIDGE accounts.
Risks and investment protectionHow much does EUROBRIDGE cost?
Investors browse the catalogue and project summaries for free; the detailed card (financials, full description, risks, documents, project owner, NDA request) costs €5 per card, €30 for a pack of 10, or comes with an Investor Pro subscription; a new investor organisation gets one free unlock. NDA and Deal Room are free once a card is unlocked. The platform is free for public partners. For project owners, the Basic plan is free with no time limit: the project stays in the catalogue with its card, Score and verification level. NDA, Deal Room and Q&A are available on paid plans from Active upwards, and nothing renews automatically. The platform fee at the start of investment is charged to the project owner only after both parties have confirmed that investment has started. Pricing: Basic — €0 per month; Active — €150 per year; Priority — €250 per year; Professional — €1,500 per year. Platform fee: 1% of the amount actually invested, charged only at investment commencement confirmed by both parties. No fee for investors. Subscriptions do not renew automatically.
Questions about plansWhat is “Project preparation and support”?
A separate paid service under a separate agreement: help with preparing the project card, documents and answers for investors, and organisational support through the stages of the deal process on the platform. Municipalities and public partners can order it too — the platform itself stays free for them. The platform remains not a broker, never holds funds and does not guarantee that financing will be raised. Fee: from 1% of the amount raised.
Which add-ons are available?
“Fast start” — priority preparation and moderation of the card (target: 2 business days); “Fast investor connection” — 30 days of featured placement and inclusion in investor digests; “Go international” — the card and teaser in foreign languages and introductions to foreign partner organisations where available. None of them guarantees inquiries or investment. Pricing: Fast start — €60 one-off; Fast investor connection — €90 per month; Go international — €250 one-off; We prepare it for you — €50 one-off.
Whom do I pay for plans and services? Can I support the foundation?
Plans, add-ons and project preparation and support are provided by the paid-services provider, a sole proprietor; the details are given in the invoice, payable within 5 bank business days. The foundation that administers the platform does not accept payment for services — only voluntary charitable donations, which give no advantage on the platform.
Which countries and sectors does the platform cover?
Ukraine comes first, together with the European Union, the United States, Mexico and South America, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Projects can come from any country and any sector: energy, healthcare, transport, water, education, housing, digital, agriculture, industry and more.
How is confidential data protected?
Project files have access levels: public, after NDA, after LOI or internal. Confidential files are never publicly accessible; downloads are checked against your deal status and logged. Contact details are shared only within a deal. The full text of the standard NDA can be read before you accept it.
Read the standard NDAWho can register?
Investors (private, institutional, DFI/IFI, grant makers, strategic), public partners (municipalities, regional and state bodies, state and municipal enterprises) and businesses. Investors using a corporate e-mail automatically receive “Domain confirmed” status; free e-mail accounts are reviewed manually.
What is PPP and who can propose a PPP project?
PPP is a long-term partnership between a public partner and a private partner. PPP projects are proposed by public partners — communities, authorities and state or municipal enterprises. See the PPP page for forms, lifecycle and payment mechanisms.
How can a war-damaged business get listed?
Register as a business, describe the damage and the restart plan, and upload an official damage record — an inspection report of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) or another document accepted under our verification rules (for example a local-authority commission report). After review you receive a war-damage verification badge. The document remains private; only the badge is public.
In which languages is the platform available?
The interface is available in seven languages: Ukrainian, English, Spanish, German, French, Polish and Arabic. Project descriptions are written by owners; translations are labelled when available. The original-language version is legally binding.
How do I report a problem or a suspicious project?
Use the contact form and choose the relevant topic, or write to us from your account. We review every report and may suspend a listing while we investigate.
How are war and security risks addressed?
Every project discloses security risks and mitigation (Score indicator D3: regional profile, insurance, phasing). Political and war-risk cover is offered by specialist providers such as MIGA (World Bank Group), DFC (US) and export credit agencies; availability should be checked deal by deal. EUROBRIDGE does not provide insurance or assess risk on the investor’s behalf.
Risks and investment protectionWhich law governs deals and how are disputes resolved?
Agreements are concluded directly between the parties, who agree governing law, dispute resolution (including international arbitration) and security with their own counsel. PPP projects follow the PPP legislation of the project’s country. The Legal Event Log records when the parties agreed and to which document version.
How are currency risk and repatriation handled?
Project pages show amounts in the project’s own currency; USD totals are indicative. Currency risk, indexation of tariffs or availability payments and the ability to repatriate returns (subject to National Bank of Ukraine or other local FX rules) should be verified in due diligence.
How can an investor exit?
Exit routes (share sale, buy-back, debt repayment, asset transfer at the end of a PPP term) are set by each deal’s terms. Project owners outline the intended options in the investment thesis; details are agreed in the Deal Room and Term Sheet.
How does the platform reduce corruption risk?
Organisations and their beneficial owners are sanctions-screened, key actions are written to an append-only Legal Event Log, and documents are visible only to deal parties. PPP private-partner tenders are run by the public partner under national law — EUROBRIDGE has no influence on the outcome. Suspicious activity can be reported via the contact form.
Report a problemAre the open PPP tenders free?
Tender teasers are public. Registered investors open a few full tender cards a month for free; full cards, official sources, exact deadlines, alerts and export are part of the Investor Pro subscription. The project catalogue is free, detailed project cards cost from €5 or come with Investor Pro, and NDA and Deal Room are free. Tenders are public notices issued by contracting authorities, not investment offers by EUROBRIDGE.
