Verification levels L0–L2 and trust badges

What L0, L1 and L2 mean on every project card, how they differ from the Score, and what “Domain confirmed” means for investors.

The three levels

Every project card shows a verification level. It is the result of checks done by EUROBRIDGE moderators, not a type of registration. It tells you how much of the project’s data has been compared with documents.

  • L0 · Self-declared: the data was entered by the owner. A moderator checked the project passport for completeness and obvious inconsistencies, but the documents have not been verified yet.
  • L1 · Documents checked: a moderator compared the organisation’s registry data and the project’s key documents, for example authority, title to the asset and permits, depending on the project type.
  • L2 · Enhanced verification: additional checks of beneficial owners, sanctions screening and confirmation by a platform partner or an independent party.

Level, Score and confidence are different things

The EUROBRIDGE Score rates a project on 24 indicators, each scored 0–5 by a moderator on the basis of the owner’s answers and the evidence. Next to it the card shows data confidence, which grows as more indicators are backed by documents. The verification level describes the checks behind those numbers.

Tip: The Score is an informational rating, not investment advice. Read the methodology page to see every indicator and how the total is calculated.

Trust badges

Besides the level, a project can carry badges. Each one is granted only after the corresponding check:

  • Checked against registers
  • Sanctions screened
  • War damage confirmed
  • Signed with QES
  • Confirmed by partner

Hover over a badge to see what it means. Badge wording is identical across the site so that a badge always stands for the same check.

For investors: “Domain confirmed”

When you register with a corporate e-mail address and confirm it, your account gets the “Domain confirmed” status automatically, based on the domain. Free webmail addresses are reviewed manually. This is not KYC: full counterparty checks take place at the deal stage, before access to sensitive documents.

Project owners see your organisation name, investor type and verification status when you send a request. Your profile is never public.

How owners raise the level

  1. Complete the organisation profile and the beneficial-owner declaration.
  2. Upload the documents requested on the Documents step of the project wizard.
  3. Answer the Score indicators and attach evidence wherever you have it.
  4. Respond to moderator remarks; once the checks pass, the level and badges are updated.

Quick answers

Is L2 better than L0?
L2 means more checks have been completed, but no level is a recommendation or a guarantee. Each investor decides on the basis of their own due diligence.
Does “Domain confirmed” mean the investor passed KYC?
No. It only means that a corporate e-mail address was confirmed by its domain. Full counterparty checks take place at the deal stage.
