In brief

Austria has no dedicated PPP statute. PPP projects are procured under the Federal Act on the Award of Concession Contracts (BVergGKonz 2018) and the Federal Procurement Act (BVergG 2018), which transposes EU Directives 2014/23/EU, 2014/24/EU and 2014/25/EU. Austria is an ICSID member and a party to the New York Convention. UNCTAD lists an investment treaty between Austria and Ukraine in force since 1996.
