In brief

In France, PPP and concessions are governed by the Public Procurement Code. It covers partnership contracts (marchés de partenariat) and concession contracts, and calls the public side buyers and concession-granting authorities. France is an ICSID member and a party to the New York Convention, and it has left the Energy Charter Treaty.
