In brief

Australia has no single federal PPP statute. State and territory governments procure PPPs under the National Public Private Partnership Policy and Guidelines, adopted in 2008 by the Commonwealth, the States and the Territories, and add their own requirements. Foreign investment falls under the Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act 1975. UNCTAD lists no investment treaty between Australia and Ukraine.
