Côte d’Ivoire has no PPP statute. The framework is a decree, Decree No. 2018-358 of 29 March 2018, which the CNP-PPP and the Ministry of Economy present as the current framework. Decree No. 2018-359 of the same date governs the National PPP Steering Committee (CNP-PPP), attached to the Presidency. Côte d’Ivoire has been an ICSID Contracting State since 1966 and is a party to the New York Convention. We could read the decree itself only on a reproduction of the Journal officiel, so we do not summarise its contents here.
A decree, not a statute: it sets the rules for PPP contracts. Its number and date are confirmed on the official sites of the CNP-PPP and the Ministry of Economy. The link leads to the JuriCIV (Laws.Africa) reproduction, consolidated at 10 February 2023; the Journal officiel could not be consulted and any amendments are unchecked.
